It has been chilly and windy, so painting it has been!

It is hard to find willing crew when the weather is cold and windy, no one wants to go sailing when it is fifty degrees outside.

It is comfortable enough in the marina though, and that means I can get my other projects worked on.  In this case I have been taking pictures and painting!

Here are some pictures of paintings, and also just some photos of adventures...
 North pier, night reflections.
 Copper Harbor, sunset
Looking out the front hatch at the mast, stars jiggling around in th background.
Ernie coming back fro a cruise.
Get those sails in!

Sitting on the boat, staving off the chill.

Dear Minnesota,

Its June.

Act like it.

It is 52 degrees at 6:30 in the evening.  I am getting ready to switch to my heavier sweatshirt, or maybe my current sweatshirt over a fleece.

I need to move someplace warmer.

Memorial Day was also a Ka-Bob day!

It was a Monday, but not jut any Monday, it was a holiday Monday!  That means it was a sailing day!  Especially since the weather held out and it was not tropical warm, but it was not freezing, which for May in Minnesota on the shores of Lake Superior is pretty damn good!  I took some pictures!

 Most of the crew!
 OMG!  a Beached Steve!
Big Bird, lashed to the mast.
 Anchors out!
 Adam had the Otter hat!
 The crew!
Steve is not the only one who needs a little sun!
